We did a spicy vegetarian variation this evening which turned out just beautifully. Substitute Trader Joe’s veggie chorizo, vegetable stock, chardonnay, and sharp cheddar, for the turkey sausage, chicken stock, dry white, and Swiss cheese, respectively. Ab fab (whole family plus dinner guest agreed). Thank you!

Hi Kasey,

I have made this one day before I served it. I basically assembled the whole thing and kept it in the refrigerator until I needed to cook it. When I did this, I found that the noodles had absorbed some of the liquid, and I added a little extra sauce and chicken broth before I put it in the oven. It was delicious.

Hi Kasey,

I’d say that this lasagna serves ~8. If you don’t have big eaters, you might be able to serve a couple more.

Hi Diane! This looks great and really easy!! How many people would you say it feeds? Going to the beach with my husband’s family in a couple of weeks and this would be a great dinner to feed a large bunch 🙂 Hope you’re doing well…LOVE your site!
