I tried thus…but sorry…not the right ratio of cream cheese to whipped cream compared to the farm pies….Paula teens recipe is supposedly closer requiring more cream cheese…..will try that.

Ed – no, I don’t mean an 8oz. package of cream cheese. The cream cheese companies used to make a small package of cream cheese, that was 3oz. in size. Not sure if they make that small package anymore. I do indeed mean 3 pz. of cream cheese for each pie you make. I typically make two pies at a time, and use 6 oz. of cream cheese for them. Hope this helps.

I definitely remember having this a time or two at the Hess house. I made it this weekend and it was just as delicious as I remember. Such a great summer dessert!

By the way, I never gave you dessert pie for breakfast or did I? I also used kiwi on the top with the berries. It is pretty and tastes good too.
