In reply to beverly huy. Beverly - I am not sure if you can freeze the dough. My guess is that you can, but I have never tried it, so I can't speak about the results. If you try to freeze the dough, please let me know how the rolls turn out.

I was wondering if you can freeze the balls and for how long will they be good frozen.. These remind me of the dinner rolls we had at lunch time in High School floating in real butter… They where the best thank you

Very similar to our favorite yeast roll recipe. I usually brush the tops with an egg wash and sprinkle with a bit of kosher salt before baking. My family goes crazy for them!
