I made them as a vegetarian option for a dinner party. I used taco sized tortillas and made about 10. My only suggestion is to eat immediately because the black beans get cold quickly. Next time, I am thinking about wrapping them individually and keeping them in a warm oven as I assemble the others. Great and filling vegetarian meal!

These are not terribly spicy at all. You can control the spice by changing the amount of chipotle peppers/adobo sauce you add to the recipe. As written, I didn’t find the recipe to be spicy, but if you want to be sure it’s not, I recommend that you cut the chipotle/adobo amounts by half.
