Thanks for the feedback Tim. I think that letting them rest for 5 minutes is a great idea. I should have included that in the recipe. I’m glad that you’re going to try the cookies again.

I followed the recipe exactly, though thin and brown, they didn’t really get “crispy”. The kids loved them (but, they would prefer raw cookie dough, so what do they know?). Next time I think I’ll let them rest 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack. But…there will be a next time. Thanks, I enjoy your site and have been over-ripening my bananas for the Cook’s Illustrated Banana Bread for several days. I’ll let you know how that goes, too.
