Im not much of a chef, which is why I only use easy recipes! It goes without saying that my delicious concoction didn’t come out as expected and my fam wound up ordering out…oh well, lesson learned (don’t substitute, follow the directions) and next time it’ll be a lot better.

I’m so sorry to hear that the yogurt is not freezing well for you. I’ve made it several times and I’ve never experienced the problem you’re describing. Did you chill the mixture in the refrigerator for an hour before you put it in the ice cream maker?

By: AG https://stylishcuisine.com/vanilla-frozen-yogurt/comment-page-1/#comment-4415 Fri, 21 Aug 2009 21:13:04 +0000 https://stylishcuisine.com/?p=1238#comment-4415 This recipe looked absolutely delicious (and easy!), but I’m having a bit of a hard time getting the yogurt to freeze well…my ice cream maker generally calls for throwing in the ingredients, letting them churn for about 30 minutes, then popping the finished product (usually pretty close to ice cream/fro yo by this point) into the freezer. But for some reason, the yogurt just isn’t thickening in the machine. And plain freezing it results in the same hard yogurt you experience the morning after….Help?
