Nutella Ice Cream

Share

Do you love Nutella and do you have an ice cream maker? If you answered yes to both of these questions, this recipe is for you! This ice cream is quick, easy and delicious – three of my favorite characteristics in a recipe.   Even if you don’t LOVE Nutella, but you really like chocolate ice cream, you should try this.  It’s now one of my favorite ice creams.    My boys devoured it. Even the one that claims he hates Nutella.

The vodka is added to keep the ice cream from freezing into a rock solid mass in your freezer. You don’t taste it in the ice cream.

Nutella Ice Cream

Recipe from Sugarlaws

1/3 cup Nutella
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon vodka

Using a hand mixer, mix the Nutella, sugar, heavy cream, milk and vodka until blended evenly. Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to your machine’s directions. If possible, chill the ice cream for several hours before serving it.

    Hi Diane,
What purpose does the vodka serve?

    Hi Robin,

The vodka keeps the ice cream from freezing into a solid mass. With the vodka (which does not freeze), the ice cream can be scooped fairly easily.
